Engr. Girado, a PME and ACPE, has extensive experience in managing power plants from 14.4MW up to 1,200MW. He worked as an assistant manager in KEPCO ILIJAN CORP.’s 1,200MW Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant for 15 years. He is also a part time Professional Industrial Lecturer at University of Batangas since 2014, and at Golden Gate Colleges for 6 years. He has 21 years work experience in the National Power Corporation (NPC), for which he was the Superintendent A/Plant in Charge of the 14.4MW, Diesel Power Plant Barge 106 for 9 years. He was the maintenance engineer-mechanical planning in the Southern Consolidated Electric Company, Abha, Saudi Arabia, in-charge of the monitoring day to day mechanical and maintenance activities of all power plants in the southern region in 1993. He has authored several technical papers and received various awards, being a KEPCO Employee of the Year more than once. He is a lifetime member of the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME): Cagayan de Oro Chapter, currently the PSME Batangas Chapter Secretary, was a board of director of PSME Batangas Chapter from 2011-2012, currently a faculty member of University of Batangas Engineering Dept, and a current member of Maintenance Association of the Philippines (MAPHIL).
